2.5 Million Foreclosures Prevented Due to Efforts of Mortgage Industry October 28, 2008

According to Hope Now, 212,000 homeowners were helped by the mortgage industry to avoid foreclosure during the month of September. It marked the first time since Hope Now started compiling data that the number exceeded 200,0000, and was 30,000 more than the previous record of 192,000 preventions set in August. Read more.
