May 7 - Friendship Development Associates - Unblurred

Every first Friday of the month, join the festivities as the Penn Avenue Arts District is opened up to showcase the artist and entertainers in the area. Embrace the art and culture in Friendship and enjoy a night of art, food, and great fun.
May 8 - Friendship Development Associates - Flower and Folk Festival
Baum Grove (Intersection of Harriet St., Roup Ave., and S. Fairmount St.)

Come enjoy the spring blossoms at this event; sure to be a great time for adults and the kids. There will be music by local artists, ongoing demonstrations, raffles, kids activities, delicious food and an artist market!
May 15 - South Side Local Development Company - Historic South Side Home Tour

Up to thirteen of South Side’s most unique residences and buildings will be available for self-guided walking tours. Experience the diversity and architectural uniqueness of each one of these gems of the South Side.
