I was born and raised right here in Pittsburgh. I currently live in the Hill District.
And what is your position at PCRG?
I am the Communications & Event Coordinator. Currently, I am working to plan and promote PCRG’s Annual Community Development Summit.
Tell us a little bit about your background:
I have an educational background in Criminal Justice and Health Management. Before coming to PCRG, I most recently worked as the Development and Communications Coordinator for the YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh where I worked on fundraising, event planning, and communnications.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I’ve been called an idea generator. Once I get a feel of something I generate ideas on how to enhance it.
What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
In my current position I think I have a connection to the communities we serve. I also have a better understanding of the needs because I’m someone whom can utilize the services.

Plan, coordinate, and execute 150th Anniversary Gala with Dr. Jill Biden. Create my own company.
Describe your values and how they inform your career.
I love nonprofits and have to believe in their mission. I consider an interview an interview for myself as well. I have to feel that the people who work for the organization actually care about the mission.
